02 — Ways to work together

Three ways I can help

Pick the shape that matches where you are. We’ll confirm the fit on a free intro call—no pitch deck, no bloated scope.

01

UX sprint

A focused engagement for a launch, a stuck feature, or a product that isn’t converting. Research, flows, and high-fidelity design your team can ship.

Best for a specific problem with a deadline.

03

Team workshop

Hands-on training for PMs and engineers. Practical UX skills they can use the same week—so you get better products now and a stronger team later.

Remote or in-person. Austin-based, nationwide.

03 — Why teams hire me

A partner, not a template

I work with your team

Files are the byproduct. I sit in the decisions—what to research, what to cut, what to ship—and adapt to how you actually work.

Startup-ready, not agency-slow

No bloated process. A usability check, a prototype, or a full flow: enough rigor to be right, not enough ceremony to stall you.

Strategy and the pixels

I design and I implement. UX background plus full-stack development means the work survives contact with engineering.

I teach while I ship

Workshops and pairing so your PMs can wireframe and your engineers can spot UX issues—without waiting on a hire.

04 — FAQ

Good questions

01/ How do I know which option is right?

We’ll start with a free 30-minute intro call. I’ll listen to the problem, the timeline, and the budget, then recommend a sprint, retainer, or workshop—or tell you I’m not the right fit.

02/ How involved do you need us to be?

As collaborative or hands-off as you want. I need goals, constraints, and any existing research up front. After that I work independently and check in at milestones. If you’d rather decide together, we can pair more tightly.

03/ We’re early / budget-conscious. Can we still work together?

Yes. Sprints and workshops exist so you don’t have to buy a six-month retainer to get unstuck. We’ll size the work to the decision you need to make next—not a catalog of unused deliverables.

04/ Why not hire cheaper on a marketplace?

Cheap visuals without strategy usually get redesigned. Large agencies add overhead you don’t need yet. I sit in the middle: senior UX judgment, startup pace, and a scope that matches a real team—not a template.

05/ How do we start?

Book a 30-minute intro. If it’s a fit, I’ll send a simple plan and we start. Most teams are in motion within a week.

06/ How do I know we even need UX help?

If users drop off before signup or purchase, the product feels inconsistent, people complain it’s confusing, features keep landing without a cohesive experience, or marketing spend isn’t moving conversions—those are UX problems. Even a small fix can change the numbers.

05 — The practice

One partner, not a handoff

The Kinnect is a solo UX studio for startups and growing teams that need better product work without a full-time designer on payroll.

You work directly with Jasmine—8+ years across UX and full-stack, from early-stage products finding fit to platforms like Arrive, Punchh, and Qualtrics shipping new features.
